The app is amazing. The controls are simple and the graphics are wonderful. The challenges are not too hard but not too easy and you can play for hours.

I have a new baby, which means lots of sleepless nights where Im pinned down and bored. Ive been playing this game intermittently for a couple weeks and I love it. It looks amazing, the controls are dead simple but the challenge never quite fades. I know Ill come to associate this game with my childs infancy and Im totally okay with that.

Im generally one to avoid endless runners, but this one caught my attention and I have not been disappointed. The graphics are beautiful, the controls are intuitive, and the overall experience is charming. Currently, the only issues are a pair of bugs that popped up in the last update: on occasion, smashing through rocks/campfires causes the screen to momentarily glitch into indistinguishable pixels, and sometimes it can be difficult to resume the game from the pause menu. Also, to address the comments about the challenges being too challenging: thats kinda the point. There are one or two later in the game that could be dialed back a notch, but the earlier ones (even the two triple backflips) really arent bad at all.

The game offers a good mix of fun and relaxation. You can choose to progress through the leveling system or just ride which is a satisfying experience. There are a couple bugs like when you hit ramps from a certain angle you are snapped back to the ground and at times the display would go wonky when smashing through rocks. My biggest gripe is that there isnt any bonus for reaching the highest level (61). You typically unlock a new character every ten levels. But going from 60-61 there is only a dialogue that youve completed the achievements. It would be great to have some sort of reward, either another character or tool from the workshop. Overall, lots of fun.

Awesome game! Very fun and addicting. However, the majority of the time when the llama horn sounds, the game freaks out, the screen glitches and I usually crash. Very very annoying.

I was on a quest to escape an elder and I almost reached him/her and then this glitch happened to me before just made jump and to a flip and I end up dying or losing. PLZ FIX THAT

If you are a lefty, this game will drive you nuts with the pause button being right where your thumb wants to tap for jumping and flipping. Otherwise, a decent game.

Stop reading and just buy the game........ Not convinced? Ok heres a small review. The game is literally one of the best iOS games to date. The achievements and unlockables had me coming back for months.

Fun. Easy to learn but as challenging as you want it to be. Excellent graphics and physics. Zen mode is a real treasure-actually use it to destress before going to sleep. Use ear- oe headphones and you will, after a few moments, feel cold air on your face and find yourself snowboarding. One of the best games and apps I have owned. Great and intuitive menu and controls. A gold standard apps should shoot for.

amazing wonderful beautiful game, I wouldnt change it, but Im letting you know that there is a glitch with the wingsuit where when you crash into the ground, sometimes you go into the ground. I hope you can fix it!!! thanks!

Simple, beautiful and fun. This is one of my all-time favorite iphone games. The vibe it has is sort of transporting. My only comment would be to add more music since the music gets a little repetitive if you play for a very long time.

Updated Review III Few games inspire me in a sense of futility as this one has. I play. I played up until the llama character. And I have had enough. The problem now, is that the game is so boring and monotonous. There is no point, despite all your efforts. Eventually you get the Elder... so that you can do the same thind ad nauseum. The story starts off with your llamas escaping, and you have to catch them. This is fine, except you focus more on coins cause catching llamas dont really progress the game, except on a few missions. In no way is this a $5 game; wait for it to go on sale for 99¢. Updated Review II I tried. I wanted to love this game, but I cant. Im up to level 22 and quite honestly I am bored to tears. The music is repetive and redundant and gets old very fast.... But so does the game. After a while I feel like all I am doing an endless grinding (like endlessly leveling up grinding). Try to jump a chasm, die... repeat again. Launch off a hill, land slightly wrong, die repeat... The wingsuit is cool, I guess... The different character physics is nice, but its an infernal, boring cycle. And Zen mode is boring AND lonely. ---- Updated Review I hated doing this, because its not a bad game, but I had to knock off a star as I progressed further. Heres why: Its not that the game is difficult, and Im certainly not complaining about the increased challenges of missions. The more and more I play this game, the more and more inconsistent it feels as far as jumping goes. At some points you will go off a ramp and you will launch in a nice arc, other times you will just fall into a chasm (even if you do jump), and there is no forseeable reason as to why. Also too, sometimes you might not want to jump off a hill as you are collecting items, and natural game physics will take over and youll have a nice little hop, other times youll go over a similiar hill expecting similiar results and you will get zero airtime and crash into a rock. Furthermore, items are placed in a very awkward space after the rock, and you have no way to collect them as you simply cannot anticipate a rock coming and adjusting your jump. So you miss a lot of items that you cant conciebly acquire which begs the question, "why are they even there in the first place?". The floating feather also makes little sense in that sometimes you can catch a llama when you have it, other times (and more often than not) youll fly over it, yet you can still collect coins just fine. These inconsistencies make this game, while still a moderately enjoyable game, not in anyway a 4$ game. I hope the devs consider these criticisms and perhaps adjust certain aspects in order to make the game have better balance. It really is a delightful game. --- Typically this game goes on sale for 99¢, but I feel it should be 99¢ generally. It is a fun game, although it gets a bit repetative after a while. One looping soundtrack that gets old very fast, limited one button control, make it a very simple game. It is fun and quite lovely, though definitely not for whatever the price is typically. If I were to pay whatever the price typically is (I think 4/5$ range off hand), Id want to see some swipe controls, maybe make Alto do more than flips and grinds -- something to make it more interesting like 180s or tail grabs, or something! No reason why it couldnt have some more advanced control I think. Overall, four stars for 99¢. If I paid anymore for it Id probably give it 2 or 3 for the cost / value.

Relaxing, addictive fun.

When I bought the game it was only 99 cents with zero in app purchases. I dont buy games that offer in app purchases as a rule. But this game is highly addictive, you accrue coins that you use to buy things you need in game. No extra money needed. The publisher needs to become the favorite of the App Store. This game is frustratingly fun, but a good frustrating. One reviewer says its not worth the 4 dollars, but I disagree. Maybe its just not a game for that person and thats fine. I love love love this game. Im already 43 levels in and am having a blast playing it. Cant wait to unlock the elder. Buy this game. You wont regret it. And I hardly rate anything five stars. This is a ten star game!

I just made level 50 and realized that this has been a go-to game of mine for so long that it deserves a 5 star review. I play this game to relax and kill time, but at the same time, the levels provide just enough additional challenge that it keeps the game interesting. I have a favorite character, but the variety of characters is also interesting. The first time you hit a 15 trick combo is truly exhilarating. Tip: focus on hitting combos, llamas and gold will happen in their own good time.

Its a great game. Its fun and it doesnt really get boring quickly. To avoid this add more features and modes

And fun...you really cant go wrong if you want an infinite runner type game....the graphics are soo pretty too.

Every time I try to open it, it crashes. I want my money back.

Im not usually one to write a review on games, but I think this app has out done itself. Its defiantly worth the money you spend, the graphics are amazing, and its an over all amazing game. Although in the latest updates there seem to be quite a few bugs making it hard to play, so I would appreciate if that were to be fixed soon.
