This is literally the most relaxing and peaceful/happy game I have ever played. Zen mode is very calming and can relieve stress very easily and the regular gameplay works just as well. The controls are well thought out, the sound effects are fantastic, and the fact that your catching llamas makes it even better! What I really like is how essentially once you start the game your already fully upgraded. Yes you can buy some stuff from the shop to help you but there only 1 time use helpers. Theres no upgrade for permanent faster backflip or anything like that so right when you start the game your already enjoying the full potential of it. This is great because you dont feel like you need to play a ton and earn points to get something drastic that your missing from the experience. I havent written a review for an app in years but this one deserves it completely. Use headphones for best experience! Get this.

This game is definitely worth the money because of how immersing it is. The minute is started playing it, I completely forgot what was going on around me. Again this is a great game and I hope the producers are more successful because of it.

I had a blast going through the challenges, and I was pleasantly surprised with how well the game kept me interested. Zen mode is great for unwinding, too. The graphics are simple but chock full of lovingly-made little details, like the sudden shadows during a lightning strike. Excellent all around. Even better: No annoying DLC!

Really like the game and enjoy the Zen feature but my question is whether other players have noticed a glitch that occasionally jumbles the screen for a moment? The glitch seems to have started after the latest update.

Fun, addictive, beautiful! However, the smash 3 rocks with a boat in one run goal doesnt work...Ive smashed tons of rocks, including 5 with a single boost, and it wont register!!! Please fix it!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I first purchased Altos Adventure shortly after its release. I thought it was breaktakingly beautiful; however, due to lack of certain features such as goals to unlock new characters and Zen Mode, I grew quite tired of it. Recently, I downloaded it again because I was bored, and figured why not. I have since became addicted to the game. For starters, once you become used to the game mechanics, it becomes wonderful to waste time on. The design of the game is peaceful and beautiful to stare at. I love getting a stunning shot of Maya doing a flip ridiculously high in the air. That brings up another point, though. Maya is the best character, in my opinion. All the other characters flip way too slow, which makes it rather difficult to rack up serious points and combos. Also, she is the best for escaping Elders, although once you get used to the game, escaping Elders with any other character should be easy. As many have mentioned here, rocks can be rather oddly placed, making it difficult to bypass them in such a short period of time. Not a major flaw though. Those are about my only complaints here. The goals are difficult, but easy to climb your way to the top. There are several characters to unlock, and each has their own special attribute, for which I have discovered it is easier to use them when you have a goal that suits them better. Good design from the developers there. Overall, if youre undecided on spending the money for this game, just do it. Youll find enjoyment out of it, and honestly, its not that expensive. Go ahead.

The songs and the effects of it make it visually stunning

Ill echo everyone else here. If you havent bought this game, get it. The fact that the only bug Ive found happened at the very end of the game says a lot about the quality. That said, spoilers follow: Essentially when using the elder, its possible to crash, and immediately fall into a chasm. This chain prompts the player to use an ice pick regardless of if they have any. Im at liked -3 right now. Its pretty funny, but if I want to actually use them, Ill have to buy all three back at some point... This only happens for the first crash with the elder undoubtedly having something to do with his special ability.

This game relax me with beautiful music and astonishing background. Both me and my wife love how the game presented visually and acoustically. Its definitely worth to try and even better the price is fantastic ($1).

I love this game but its so buggy the gameplay its not as smooth and relaxing as it should be, sometimes when I get the llama horn and smash a rock at the same time the screen glitches for a second, and sometimes when I get an item while running it doesnt activate, this and other things I cant remember, please update soon.

Holy cow. I just got this app and it looks amazing. I love how it changes from night to day and when you go through the forests it looks amazing. I love the achievements because they are not too hard to get and they make you want to keep going along with the great graphics that I love to snowboard by. Apparently Zen mode is new and for everyone who has been playing this game for awhile its a shame you didnt get it right away. Zen mode is so relaxing and enjoyable. I highly recommend this game, hopefully new updates come out so the app never gets boring! :)

Extremely fun and entertaining. I think tricks/combos/points should have a purpose, as you fluidly can do them, they are just not worth squeezing all of your combos in when youre grinding for coins. How about a little payout for some cool combos?

Ive played a lot of games like this one but Altos is an a different level. Most of the times when I download a game I checked it out and within a day Ive stopped playing, so thats one of the main reasons I only downloads free games or when I get download codes. For a while now I read reviews saying this game was great and when I saw it at .99c I knew it was the time to try it on. First of all, it looks amazing, I hate the blocky 3D games and the cartoonish style that most of the games use nowadays. The background are gorgeous and the little effects really are the icing on the cake. The mechanic of the game is easy and challenging and even though you do the same over and over again theres always a reason to pick it up again. It reminds me a lot of a similar game I used to play that had some little birds going down slopes and you had to time the jumps. Its similar and very different in a very good way. Altos is a really good investment specially since its also on the Apple TV.

very fun and calming. there are no glitches for the most part, and has really good graficts. zen mode is fun, where your run goes endlessly, but the game could use more features, peticularly a story line, about the boy, the village, and the llamas, other than that the game is great though!

This game is a very calm, peaceful game. I love the music and all of its amazing colors and stuff! If your reading this you should really get it!!

I rarely write reviews for apps, but for this one I had to. Ive had this game for awhile now, and Im currently Level 52. I have all the characters and the game is amazing. Here is my review: Artwork: The game looks great. I love the simplistic look and the color scheme. My only complaint is the night/day cycle. Sometimes it is hard to see at night. There should be a setting to turn the cycle off and just have day. Score: 9 Sound: I really enjoy the soundtrack for this game. For me, though, it got stale rather quickly and I normally just listen to my own music. Score: 7 Gameplay: The game plays great. I love the how you can pull off massive combos with your wing suit. Some will say it lacks depth, but I disagree. I also think the goals are great. They are challenging, but not infuriating. Many complain about the goal requiring 2 triple back flips in 1 round. To you I recommend going for triple back flips, and if it looks like you arent going to land it, use your wing suit to save you. Score: 10 Characters: I like the characters in the game. Theyre balanced fairly well, with Tupa (the final character unlocked at Level 51) having all the strengths of the other characters. He makes the grinding worth it. Here is how I rank the characters. 1) Tupa 2) Maya 3) Izel 4) Alto 5) Felipe 6) Paz Score: 10 Bugs/Glitches: This game is mostly big free, but there are 2 bugs that I have experience: 1) When smashing a rock, the screen shakes and glitches out for a second. Not game changing, though. 2) The game wont let me jump, flip, anything. I can pause the game, interact with everything in the pause menu, but cant jump. Only fixed by closing out app. Extremely annoying. Score: 7 Overall Review + Score: The game is great, not huge complaints. I love it. Score: 9.5
